September is Hunger Action Month and we are asking you to take action for our littlest neighbors.

Your donation to L.I.F.E. Houston helps fill bottles and feed babies throughout our neighborhood. When you help Houston's only food bank, you help families give their little ones a strong start in life.

Infant Hunger fast facts

Babies' brains grow faster in the first 2 years of life than at any other time
Babies can only eat breastmilk or formula for the first 4 to 6 months
Formula for one baby can cost between $60 and $500 per month

Why such a huge range of prices?

This average includes the lowest cost option (generic milk-based formula) and the highest cost option (name-brand, hypoallergenic

formulas for medical needs or severe food allergies)

1 in 2 babies in the Houston area are born into a family living in poverty
L.I.F.E. Houston is the only source of emergency infant formula assistance in our community
L.I.F.E. Houston helps 2,000 babies with over 100,000 bottles each year
