Fall Friends Luncheon
Our annual fundraising luncheon began in 2007. It starts off with a champagne reception and silent auction, followed by an elegant lunch.
In addition to raising funds through the luncheon, our host committee supports L.I.F.E. Houston by hosting a resource drive to gather baby formula, baby food, and other essentials.
For this event, volunteers help us plan every aspect of this highly successful fundraiser.
Client Baby Shower
Many women are fortunate to have baby showers hosted by friends or family members, but our clients do not always have this option. Starting life as a new mother can be difficult, even more so with the significant cost of outfitting a baby. Many of our clients do not have the resources to supply all of their baby’s needs.
Through the Client Baby Shower, we are able to meet their baby’s nutritional needs, along with providing non-nutritional yet essential items, such as diapers, wipes, and baby clothes.
Infant Holiday Bash
Since 2013, we have hosted an Infant Holiday Bash each December. What started as an opportunity for clients to get formula before a long winter break has evolved into a fun-filled event.
Now, we celebrate with arts & crafts, refreshments, gifts for the kids, and a little something for the parents. Even most fun, Santa comes out to take family pictures!
Volunteers are a key part of making this event a huge success.
