Houston Feeds Hope

For 38 years, L.I.F.E. Houston has been a trusted lifeline for families facing infant hunger. But a lifeline only holds strength because people like you keep it full. As Texas' only infant formula bank, our pantry exists solely through formula gathered by our community, and this September, we're asking you to help us stock it once again.

The earliest months of life are foundational to a child's growth and development. When a family can't afford formula, which can cost $30–50 a can, the consequences can be immediate and far-reaching. In 2025 alone, our community walked alongside 8,133 families, placing 16,266 cans of formula into the hands of babies who needed it most.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and reach their fullest potential. That belief becomes reality the moment a can lands in our pantry.

This Infant Hunger Action Month, we're calling on Houston's businesses, healthcare organizations, schools, faith communities, nonprofits, and residents to ensure infants facing food insecurity get the nutrition they deserve.
