LIFE/Houston Serving Clients at 3 Locations
Recently, the board of directors of LIFE/Houston, in preparation for a leaner fundraising environment this year, made the difficult decision to close 2 satellite offices; LIFE/Houston at Memorial Assistance Ministries and LIFE/Houston at Humble Area Assistance Ministries. This decision will insure the ecomomic longevity and sustainability of the agency through these leaner times. The Humble location is no longer seeing clients and the MAM location will not serve clients after Thursday, May 7, 2009.
Humble and greater Spring Branch clients are redirected to LIFE/Houston at West End Multi-Service Center in the Heights, 170 Heights Blvd. 713-864-9993.

2009 Legacy Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, October 21st on the campus of Church of St. John the Divine. KTRK-Channel 13's Art Rascon will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Luncheon Honoree: Houston's own Direct Energy.

Local Infant Formula for Emergencies (LIFE)/Houston is a local, non-profit agency whose mission is to provide families with infant formula through our "Food for Hungry Babies" program. In 19 years, Food for Hungry Babies has served over 75,000 families in the greater Houston area as we are the only agency solely dedicated to providing emergency formula to infants, birth to one year. |

Led by a talented and committed team of professionals, Food for Hungry Babies is low barrier; parents or caregivers need only photo identification of themselves and proof of the babies birth. More importantly, thanks to the generosity of individuals, churches and corporations, families also receive other baby essentials that we have on hand at any given time.
